My role
Odoo developer for product configuration, referral workflows and integrations.
Delivered scope
Furniture configurator, designer referral program and store-credit reconciliation.
The challenge
Maison Territo — Casavogue's sister luxury-furniture brand — runs on its own separate Odoo database, selling pieces from Italian luxury houses where the same design comes in dozens of fabric, finish, size and option combinations, sold both directly and through trade referrals from architects and designers.
My approach
I built a dedicated product configurator so staff select preferences instead of hunting for the right variant, added a full designer/architect referral program with approval, commission and payout tracking, and adapted the Shopify connector, event registration and reporting tooling to this business. Cross-company container and purchase-order sync is staging-verified, with production rollout pending; each company keeps ownership of its own records.
What I built
- Configurable-furniture catalog: custom models turn selected fabric/finish/size preferences into a priced, sellable Odoo product, reusing a matching one or creating it
- A designer/architect referral program: online applications, manager approval, referral codes and tiers, commission or discount benefits split between professional and customer, and a commission ledger with refund handling
- Sales-to-purchase workflow converting customer order lines into a supplier RFQ, keeping the sales-order link and configuration details on the resulting purchase
- Branded showroom-event registration pages connected to Odoo events, with internal review of submissions
- Shopify commerce connector adapted and maintained for this storefront, plus a separate custom Shopify-to-Odoo newsletter integration with consent tracking (live in production since August 2026)
- Cross-company container and purchase-order sync with Casavogue, each side keeping ownership of its own records (staging-verified, production rollout pending)
- Customer store-credit reconciliation across accounting and POS, with controlled, auditable credit transfers (activated in production, September 2026)
- QR-code employee attendance with selfie/geolocation check-in and exportable time reports
- Branded quotation, invoice and delivery documents with bilingual tax presentation (in development, not yet on the released line)
- Moneris payment integration, sales financing and protection-plan tools adapted for this storefront
- MCP/AI tool integration with OAuth hardening and a dedicated security-admin role (development-stage security work, not a deployed assistant)
The result
- Confirmed live Odoo 18 deployment with accounting and POS financial records (direct audit, September 2026)
- Store-credit reconciliation activated in production with zero failures across its release tests
- Custom Shopify newsletter integration live in production since August 2026
- Designer referral program covering three benefit modes (commission, customer discount, or a split) with a full commission ledger
- Cross-company sync with Casavogue passed 68+ test methods in staging; production rollout still pending
